How to Prepare for Your X-Ray?

We ask that all patients leave their jewelry at home.

Most X-Rays do not require any kind of preparation on the part of the patient. However, if your prescription calls for a KUB X-Ray or an Abdominal X-Ray, there is a restriction:

• If you have recently had a test that required Barium or a contrast injection you must notify us and schedule your X-Ray for at least 10 days after the contrast study.
