Introducing SenoClaire — Digital Breast Tomosynthesis
One of the latest innovations in breast care is digital breast tomosynthesis, also called 3D mammography. IPMC Medical Center has GE Healthcare’s solution: SenoClaire. SenoClaire produces images in an advanced way, so doctors can detect breast cancer, and detect it early. Your doctor gets a clear 3D image, and you get a 3D mammogram with the same low dose as 2D — because we’ve chosen to offer a healthy breast tomosynthesis to all our patients.
3D screening mammograms are FREE if you are insured under Pennsylvania law. We can do 3D mammograms on patients with the following insurances without signing ABN:
- Personal Choice
- Keystone First
- Health Partners
All other patients have to sign ABN, because they may not be covered under PA law.
